Meet the Founder

ASSAD CHAUDRY BEng (Hons) MSc

Vanguard Structural Engineers Ltd was founded by Assad Chaudry, who has built strong relationships and a trusted reputation with architects, builders, and homeowners alike. Assad established the consultancy to deliver a more bespoke and dynamic structural engineering service to the North West.

With over ten years’ experience in consultancy-based structural engineering, including four years leading Vanguard, Assad has developed a broad expertise across a wide range of projects. His portfolio includes steel portal frame industrial and commercial buildings, housing estates, apartment blocks, large-scale domestic extensions, and smaller internal alterations.

As a sole practitioner and family man, Assad has shaped his services to focus on streamlining domestic and residential projects. This approach allows him to balance personal and professional commitments effectively, while ensuring that every project is delivered to the highest standard—never compromising quality for quantity. That said, we continue to welcome enquiries for all types of structural engineering projects.
